Only a few weeks after Google combines the main YouTube and YouTube TV application in Roku, the company returns with similar updates for the latest Smart Vizio TV. Assuming you have a supported model, you can access YouTube TV from within the usual YouTube application, eliminating the need to install and switch between two different products.
Earlier last month, Google announced that it had combined Youtube TV with the main YouTube application in Roku. Changes followed the dispute between the two companies which resulted in the Roku to release the YouTube TV application, but leave Youtube’s main offerings.
Google says at that time it will bring this change to another device ‘from time to time.’ This week brings the latest updates to this problem, with Google revealing that Youtube TV now joins the main YouTube application for Vizio users who have one smartcast device 2020 or 2021 company.
YouTube TV is found in the main YouTube application on the left side of the interface. You have to scroll to the bottom of the side navigation bar. Users must enter their YouTube TV account first they launch services from within the main YouTube application, according to Google.
The launch of a series of other devices makes this join more than just a solution to Roku problems. It is not clear which device can be next in the pipe to get youtube TV support in the main YouTube application, but users can direct tabs on the Twitter platform account for updates in the future.
