As the nation celebrates the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, citizens are invited to participate in a unique initiative called “RashtraGaan” to commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence. Inspired by Prime Minister’s call during his “Mann Ki Baat” address on July 25, 2021, people are encouraged to come together in singing the National Anthem, aiming to create a record with the maximum participation.
To join in this momentous occasion, follow these steps:
- Visit https://rashtragaan.in
- Click on “Proceed” or tap the bottom right corner on mobile devices.
- Enter your name, select your age group, and provide your country name for recording/uploading the video.
- Click on “Let’s Sing” or tap the bottom right corner on mobile devices.
- Align your face to the screen and grant permission for audio and video recording if prompted.
- Press “Record” and after a countdown from 3, the National Anthem music will start playing along with the text displayed in Hindi.
- Once recorded, you’ll have the option to listen to the playback before uploading or restart if needed.
- If satisfied with the recording, press “Upload” to save the video.
- Upon successful upload, a certificate of participation will be issued automatically. Download the certificate and share it with the mission’s Twitter handle (IndiainDRC) & Facebook (IndiainDRC) using the tag #rashtragaan.
