Volkswagen of America has revealed a new accessories line for the Taos Compact SUV. All accessories are intended to complement the SUV style and make it more adaptable to various things that customers want to do with their vehicles. VW said the accessory line for smaller Taos Sum appeared after receiving a very positive response to the basecamp line accessories for ATLAS full size SUV.
New accessories include special body cladding elements available in the basecamp accessory package scheduled for release in June. The accessories included the aggressive front and rear fender flares with integrated splash guards, bottom side dishes, and grill of grill.
Volkswagen said basecamp accessories create a cohesive look that streamlines extending from the front grille to the back of the vehicle. The components are all installed dealers, and all are available separately as individual pieces, except for BASECAMP BADGE. The only way to get a badge is to buy accessories as a complete package for $ 999.
Presumably, the price does not calculate the installation in the dealer, and there is no indication of how much it costs. Other available accessories include muddybuddy rubber and carpeted monster mats to protect the SUV floor. VW also has a bumperdillo guard for rear bumper to protect from damage when loading and dismantling cargo.
Mirror Rearview Rearview frame, automatic with Homelink Connect integration is also part of the accessories line. VW does not offer price details on one component other than the full basecamp package. Volkswagen showed off some of these accessories when revealing the concept of Taos Basecamp at the end of May. The concept was intended to show a versions of Taos SUVs that were more coarse and oriented on the road, and it looked very cool to boot.
