Logitech has announced the release of its newest operating system called Collabos 1.2. With an enhanced operating system, Logitech devices, including rallies bars and mini rally bars, now support the communication and collaboration platforms, including Goto, Pexip, and Ringcentral. The Logitech All-in-One video conference tool was announced in January.
Logitech said they were aimed directly on the Hybrid work environment and had enabled the company to change meeting rooms with any size using flexible and easy to use video conference equipment. With enhanced software, rally bars and mini rally bars, all-in-one devices can run the GOTO, PEXIP, and RingCentral original application in equipment mode.
That means no PC needs indoors during video conferencing with the application. Logitech notes that when used with Goto, the device can change meetings into modern and dynamic work spaces with sophisticated video collaboration. Integration uses a Linux-based operating system to keep a similar meeting possible.
PEXIP integration presents a simple meeting experience by joining one touch that allows employees to safely attend the PEXIP service meeting from the PEXIP room using a web browser, through the PEXIP application, or third party SIP device. Ringcentral integration provides a “one-stop-shop” for video conference needs. Logitech said video conferencing on the desktop or through the client’s in-room client system was supported. Integration provides a complete range of product solutions for businesses that require communication and collaboration in the hybrid environment.
Logitech said users of these three platforms can now integrate services that are familiar and trusted directly into the bar rally and mini bar rallies. Integration allows users to make high experience meet participants in the room and remotely with the ability to spread the scale.
